Hi there, spammers!

You've been trying to sign up to this site. Notice that I have to approve all new members... you're the reason for this. I hope you enjoy the email the system automatically sends you when I delete your ass from my database.

The problem here is that you try to sign up using certain things, such as an email address @mail.ru. I know most spammers use that as their email provider because in Russia, they don't care what the hell their cybercriminals do.

I also know that, when I don't recognize anything about your name, I can look shit up. For example, I just had one sign up under what looked like a random name, with a gmail account. Seems okay, but, thanks to The Internet, I don't fucking trust anybody.

So I do a search for the email address. Nothing came up, so I used the wonderful phpBB administration panel to find the IP address the registration came from. It almost looked as though it was going to check out for a minute: Ubiquity Server Group or something was the given owner of said IP, and it looked cool in that I'm still looking for a goddamn job.

HOWEVER, I found a forum containing posts from that IP; lo and behold, they were trying to sell Cialis!

Good thing I know how to investigate.

My special message to forum and comment spammers: eat a bag of dicks. A bag of Cialis-engorged, Nigerian prince Russian mail-order bride dicks.
