If anybody's been following anything I've been doing of Facebook (or even *koff* MySpace), you might have seen that I'm really really really pushing for some attendance at the benefit the Family's setting up for Dave.

As far as the jam goes, format's up to me and anybody else who actually has experience keeping a jam organized, but the idea is not, I repeat, NOT going to be "band shows up plays a whole set, then another band sets up, rinse, repeat". I'd like to see some real jamming, some real interaction... blues, jazz, favorites, whatever. Everybody who can play stuff together should be ready to enjoy playing some stuff. Together.
But I won't frown upon anybody tossing in some solo variety in between jams... I sure will.
I wish I knew a way I could really make this awesome... or, rather, even more awesome than it already should end up being.
Already know we got some people coming up from NC, so there'll be at least something somewhat musically complete for some of the time.
